Need to Streamline Processes

MamaMia Produce is a family owned and operated business offering three generations of agricultural experience and a graduate studies in soil and plant science making MamaMia the natural choice. MamaMia bring you the finest of premium fruits and vegetables under the MamaMia and LaVita brands. Using the latest in greenhouse and hydroponic advances to create a fusion between Mother Nature and science, they know that optimizing their processes achieves unheralded results.

Applying that same philosophy to how they run their business, when MamaMia produce realized they needed to automate and optimize their workforce management processes, they looked to Advance Systems' TMS to take control.

"Prior to using TMS we used paper time cards and a punch clock to monitor the time and attendance of our employees. Since implementing TMS, the difference in the process is night and day because of the automation of the process, it can't be compared. Our information is more accurate and we have more control of it. Advance Systems' TMS enables us to analyze and edit the information on our PC's and export the payroll information directly into our payroll web interface, which has resulted in the elimination of the paper trail associated with timekeeping so that the only paper used in the office is to print out reports and paychecks."

Easy System to Learn and Utilize

"I would describe the implementation process as prompt and well executed. the transition from our manual process to a fully automated system was a very smooth and easy transition. TMS was implemented in a timely manner and training was completed within 3 days as planned. There is a help file within TMS that allows us to troubleshoot if needed on the fly. Otherwise, we can always contact support, they are very helpful and more than happy to sort out any issues that we may have."

Eliminates Buddy Punching

"We are using Advance Systems' Biometric Timekeeping Terminal with the Lumidigm Biometric Readers. They are working perfectly and we have never had any issues with the reader not reading an employees finger impression. The Biometric readers have enabled us to eliminate 'Buddy Punching' or 'Gaming' of the system from our employees helping us to reduce payroll inflation."
