Component Sources International (CSI) is a manufacturer of High precision/Close tolerance precision machined products located in Westborough, MA. In addition to our manufacturing capabilities CSI also has marketing and sales rights in North America for 7 other machining companies. Two of these are located in the USA and the other five are located in Europe.
For over 21 years Component Sources International (CSI) has been providing high precision machining, five axis CNC machining, production CNC machining, vertical CNC machining, spherical milling and close tolerance screw machine products in North America.
Today, CSI is a partnership of 8 CNC machining companies from the US and Europe operating over 400 sophisticated machine tools. We provide solutions for North American customers who operate in markets such as aerospace, connectors, firearms, fluid control, locking devices, medical, retails, sensors and many others.
CSI Selects TMS
Prior to implementing TMS, Component Sources International had a very manual and intensive payroll process in place. Employees would punch in and out through a manual punch clock. From there, Supervisors would review the time cards prior to the information being added to a spreadsheet which would then be submitted to their payroll provider. By implementing TMS, employees now use their employees access cards to swipe in at a terminal which will then flag the Supervisor to log in and correct on the exceptions to their time cards . Once the exceptions have been approved or corrected, the information is submitted directly to their Harpers Payroll System.
"Before Advance Systems' TMS, we had a punch clock with no reporting capabilities whatsoever. We had to manually input all payroll information. Now the process is completely automated, TMS automatically exports the payroll data to Harpers and gives the Supervisors real time access to payroll information. Information is easier to access with TMS and we now have more options for storing and viewing information. TMS has made managing employees more efficient. Sick days, entitlements and all other employee data is very accessible to us. Our payroll processing time has been reduced by 30%"
